JADEITE AND DIAMOND PENDANT

The jadeite plaque of rich emerald green colour and fine translucency, carved with floral and foliage motifs, set within a garland accentuated with jadeite cabochons and diamond-set leaves, framed by micro pavé-set brilliant-cut diamonds, accompanied by a double chain necklace decorated with onyx beads and ruby rondelles, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 480 to 500mm.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jadeite plaque and small jadeite cabochons are well matched, of rich emerald green colour and very good translucency. Under strong illumination, there are a few dark spots and slight cloud inclusions, particularly in the plaque, but generally these features are not seen when worn. Diamonds are probably of F to G colours, VS to SI1 clarity. Ruby beads are of semi-translucent red colour. Onyx beads approximately 4.30mm and diamonds together weighing approximately 0.90 carat. Condition: Elegant pendant design, in mint condition.
