Condition

The painting has been recently relined. The surface is intact and the pigment is stable. The signature appears to be integral with the creation of the painting. Under ultraviolet light there is scattered retouching throughout, the better part being in the lower left quadrant. There is one retouching to the signature, indicating a small paint loss. Retouched areas around the edges of the painting also fluoresce. The painting is in good condition. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Signorelli Studio, Conservation of Paintings)
