Condition

This painting is unlined and stretched on the original stretcher. The paint layer is unvarnished, most likely clean and slightly opaque in a few areas. The unvarnished finish appears to be intentional and should remain. There are some slightly more saturated drips or splashes in the dark section in the center of the right side which may be original yet they may also be a later arrival. If they are later additions, they can most likely be eliminated either through careful further cleaning or by some other mechanical means. There is a visible dust layer in some portions of the painting which may also be cleared up. Overall however, the painting is in lovely condition.
