Album grand in-8° oblong (20 x 30,5 cm), percaline maroquinée rouge, filets à froid, au centre le titre 'Le Mexique et ses Monuments Anciens'. Avec vingt épreuves albuminées montées individuellement sur les pages. Avec le titre de l'album, le titre de l'image et le numéro de planche ainsi que les noms du photographe et de l'éditeur imprimés sur chaque page.
Accompagné d'une épreuve albuminée sur carton d'origine portant une étiquette en papier avec les informations imprimées 'Charnay, photogr. Gide, éditeur, Paris  Pl. 44  Palais des Nonnes, a Uxmal  Bas-relief de l'indien'.

Condition

The album generally in good condition. Plates no.1, 2, 3, 19, 20 slightly yellowed. The cover is slightly worn, a tear in the back cover. A few pages with some foxing.
