Seated cross-legged on a lotus pedestal, his hands with characteristic gestures, the open palmed right hand held up in salutation and the left in the earth-touching position, the Bon deity wearing a jeweled crown and beaded necklaces and girdle, a lower garment with incised floral decoration, a sash across his upper torso and with an intense expression with the eyes enhanced with silver inlay.

Condition
Fair overall condition. Accretion from butter lamp smoke and incense throughout. The consecration plate, engraved with a geometric shape, is original but re-attached. On the back a hole in the bottom flange of the base, a large crack around the base of the neck and a hole on the right shoulder. A hole at the back of the head just below the usnisha through which the sacred prayer scrolls and sacking material can be seen. No restoration.
