Prince Mohan Singh (r. 1656-1699) is pictured seated against a carpeted balustrade holding a rose, very much in the Mughal manner,  and smoking a hookah. The verso bears an inscription with the subject's name and states that the work was executed by the resident artist.

Condition

Good overall condition. Minor abrasions to white pigment at top and minor losses to white jama of attendant.
