The illustration depicts Krishna's emissary Akrura departing for Hastinapura on Krishna's orders, to find out how his nephews the Pandavas were being treated by their cousins the Kauravas.

Condition

In very good condition with very minor staining and losses and accretion. No restoration. Inscription in Devanagari on verso.
