Description

  • Length: 13 3/16 in (33.5 cm)
Flexible early steel blade, hilt of pale yellow stone carved with all over relief decoration terminating in a rounded pommel, cloth covered wood scabbard.

Condition

The finely watered double-edged blade with some wear and scoring and pitting. Reinforced attachment to the hilt. The jade in good condition with some accretion overall and of a finer green colour than the almost white of the catalogue illustration. The green veluet scabbard is now faded and discoloured.
