The heavily cast and richly gilded bronze depicting Vajrasattva wearing gem-incrusted bodhisattva jewelry, a flowing scarf, a ratnopavita and a long dhoti fastened at the waist with a jeweled sash.
Condition
The heavily cast image with a fine gilded surface with many original stone settings but some replacements. The two middle fingers of the right hand restored with the upper section of the Vajra. Remodeling of the left hand and right foot. The jewel at the right scarf end missing. The beading missing from the head band of the crown and the two upper arm bands. The projecting tenon at the rear of the base now broken. Dents and abrasions overall.
