Dancing exuberantly on a prostrate figure wielding a kartrika in her right hand and a kapala in her left, her sow's head protruding from the hair, with silver inlaid to the eyes, bracelets, beaded apron and the central skull of the crown, and gold inlaid to the necklace, arm bands and beaded apron, with jewelry inset with turquoise colored glass, the red colored Vajravarahi depicted in red copper separately cast and attached to the copper alloy lotus pedestal by means of two supporting gilt copper flowers, a securing tenon extending from the middle of the back.

Condition

In good condition overall with minor wear to the surface through handling. Minor loss of silver inlay missing from the girdle at the rear. Two beads missing from the jewel clasp at the waist. One silver skull missing from the crown. A section of the hair missing from the back of the head, orginally inset as a seperately cast element. Wear to the gilding of the flowers supporting the knees. A tang protruding from the middle of the back now bent. No restoration.
