A head of Buddha, the face with an expression of intense concentration, the brow furrowed, the eyes downcast, the fleshy lips are outlined, the hair arranged in large, bristling curls rising to form an usnisha.

Condition
Some of the hair curls chipped off especially around the forehead and on the top of the usnisha. Left earlobe chipped top and bottom, extended section of right earlobe broken off. Small chip on the end of the nose. Some consolidation on the sides at the back behind the ears, especially on the left side. The original skin rubbed extensively with some soil deposits present.
