Catalogue Note

Despite its miniature size the body of the goddess is beautifully rendered, her narrow waist broadening into full hips, the folds of flesh indicated by incised lines under her breasts and her face with a sweet, benevolent expression. The attributes in her hands are now missing and so it is impossible to exactly identify her.
