Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, attached to the artist's mount which is attached to a backing mount at the top two corners and floating in the over mount. There are three pinhead-sized paint losses and a 7mm. line of paint loss at the centre of the lower edge with associated nicks, some minor nicks at intervals along the extreme left edge and a pinhead sized spot of paint loss in the lower right corner of the girl's skirt. There is a 2cm. thin line of very slight paint loss running across the lower right corner, probably due to a repaired crease. Apart from light undulation throughout the sheet and some small waterstain marks (two along the left edge, five along the right edge and one on the girl's temple, all visible in the catalogue illustration) this work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall accurate, although brighter in the original.
