Private Collection, France (purchased at the above sale)
Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount along all four edges. There are tape remnants at intermittent intervals along all four edges due to previous mounting. There are several flattened creases to the left and right edges, and some minor surface paper skinning, possibly due to an earlier overmount. Apart from a small area of paper skinning to the upper right corner and some light surface dirt, this work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate, although the paper tone is slightly warmer and the black medium is more defined in the original.
