Condition

Good condition. Original canvas. Buckling towards upper right corner. Faint stretcher bar marks running horizontally 2 inches from top edge and 2 inches from the bottom edge and through center of painting. Some minor craquelure in light brown pigments. Light brown pigments and paint within those areas are very old restoration, as is a small spot of purplish-blue below Goat's back feet. This restoration should be able to be removed and greatly improve the appearance of the painting. Under UV light, the old restorations visible in natural light fluoresce. There are no other spots of repaint.
