Condition

Work is in good condition. Original canvas. Surface has layer of varnish which is dirty and has pooled in places. Some paint shrinkage in lighter background pigments. Several areas of minor cracking in pigments. Several cracks diagonally across top left corner, some near top center edge, top right corner and towards lower right. Under UV light: a few pinhead sized dots of inpainting near top of left edge to address frame abrasion. Other scattered tiny dots of inpainting throughout apparently addressing spots where varnish has pooled or tiny losses due to cracking. Otherwise fine. Color: Greens in upper right and upper left have more blue in them than in catalogue illustration. Otherwise quite accurate.
