Condition

Work is in fairly good condition. Canvas has been wax lined and the surface is dirty. There are areas of some pigment lifting in the striped curtain at upper left, and several nail-head sized associated losses. There are several streaky areas, particularly the figure's legs. A one inch repaired puncture has been inpainted in the center of the red fabric at lower left. Under UV light: this area, the areas of loss at upper left, and several retouches around the outer edges and in the yellow cushion fluoresce. Overall work would likely benefit from restoration.
