Catalogue publié à l'occasion de l'Exposition internationale du Surréalisme présentée par André Breton et Marcel Duchamp à Paris à la Galerie Maeght en juillet-août 1947. Le sein en mousse est issu de la collaboration de Marcel Duchamp avec Enrico Donati. Le catalogue comporte des textes de Bataille, Bellmer, Bousquet, Breton, Lebel, Mabille et Péret entre autres, et 24 illustrations originales dont 5 lithographies en couleur de Brauner, Ernst, Lam et Miro, 5 eaux-fortes de Bellmer, Marcel Jean, Maria, Tanguy et Dorothea Tanning, 2 gravures sur bois d'Arp; 12 lithographies en noir de Brignoni, Calder, Capacci, van Damne, de Diego, Donati, David Hare, Jacqueline Lamba, Matta, Kay Sage, Tanguy et Toyen.
Catalogue published for the 'Exposition internationale du Surréalisme' organised by André Breton and Marcel Duchamp in Paris at the Galerie Maeght in July-August 1947. The foam breast was made by Marcel Duchamp in collaboration with Enrico Donati. The catalogue contains texts by Bataille, Bellmer, Bousquet, Breton, Lebel, Mabille and Péret amongst others, and 24 original illustrations including 5 colour lithographs by Brauner, Ernst, Lam and Miro, 5 etchings by Bellmer, Marcel Jean, Maria, Tanguy and Dorothea Tanning, 2 woodcuts by Arp and 12 black and white lithographs by Brignoni, Calder, Capacci, van Damne, de Diego, Donati, David Hare, Jacqueline Lamba, Matta, Kay Sage, Tanguy and Toyen.
