Condition

The canvas is not lined. There are two 10 by 4cm. areas of retouching, one to the chest of the male torso, the other above the breasts of the female torso. There are two areas of retouching, the larger 5 by 3cm., towards the upper right corner, a 6cm. by 3cm. area of retouching around the right leg of the male torso, and a 4 by 2cm. area of retouching to the centre left of the upper edge. There appears to be some retouching around the signature in the upper left corner and a line of scattered spots of retouching running down from the left corner of the wooden platform. All retouching is visible under UV light. This work is in fairly good condition. Colours: The colours are slightly stronger in the original.
