Condition

Executed on linen-finished paper, laid down on board. There are two areas of retouching to the upper left quadrant, a small 2cm. line running down from the top edge and a small 1cm. sq. spot of retouching below it. There is a 1 by 2cm. spot of retouching towards the upper right corner, and a small paint loss, with some associated retouching, to the upper right edge. There is a small spot of retouching to the centre of the lower left side of the work, and another small spot of retouching to the centre of the lower edge. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from a thin line of retouching running at intermittent intervals around the edge of the paper, this work is in fair condition. Colours: Overall accurate, although slightly deeper in the original.
