Condition

The board is stable. There are intermittent spots of retouching to the top edge and at intervals along the top of the water in the background. There are spots of retouching to all four corners and a vertical line of specks of retouching to the bottom left edge. All retouching is visible under UV light. This work is in good condition.

Catalogue Note

Painted during the summer of 1936 from the terrace of the Presbitaire de Collioure overlooking the sea. The present work was given by the artist to Prosper Clerc, curé of Collioure.
