  • length 45mm.
• automatic nickel lever movement, 20 jewels • salmon guilloché dial, Roman numerals, rose gold Arabic 7 and 9, secret signature at X, inner minutes track, blued steel hands, sweep center seconds, date aperture at 6 o'clock • 18k white gold Tank case with enlarged polished sides, brushed ends, sapphire-set crown, back secured by eight screws • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k white gold Cartier buckle

Condition

The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is very clean and shows no visible imperfections. The case shows some light surface scuffs. The back is factory engraved 'Hong Kong 1997' and numbered 1726 and CC275210. The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

Catalogue Note

This model was produced in a special limited edition of 97 piece to commemorate the hand-over of Hong Kong from Great Britain to the People's Republic of China in June 1997. The dial is specially set with Arabic numerals only at 9 and 7 o'clock, corresponding to the momentous year. The present lot is number 29 from that series.
