Condition
The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is very clean with no visible imperfections. The case has some light scuffs throughout with a slight ding to the band at 9 o'clock. The Certificate of Origin is from James Free Company of Dayton, Ohio. The watch is further accompanied by the original tie tag. The 2006 retail price for this model was 43,200CHF.

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Certificate of Origin dated November 22, 2002 as well as an Extract from the Archives confirming production in 2002 and its subsequent sale on July 26th of that year. Together with Patek Philippe booklets within a leather folder, suede pouch, wooden setting pin, wooden fitted presentation box and outer packaging.
This model, Ref. 5056, was produced only in platinum, from approximately 1998 until 2006. It is the cousin to Ref. 5036, a similar model that was only made in pink, yellow and white gold. According to our research, approximately 25 examples of this model have appeared at auction. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time the present lot has been offered at auction.
