• cal. 240/164 nickel lever movement stamped with the seal of Geneva, free-sprung Gyromax balance, 29 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, micro-rotor engraved with the Calatrava cross • petrol blue textured dial, luminescent baton indexes, luminiscent hands, eccentric dial layout with fan-form power reserve indicator, two subsidiary dials for date combined with fan-form aperture for moon-phases and subsidiary seconds • tonneau Nautilus water-resistant-type case, side-screw assembage, sapphire crystal display back • integrated stainless steel Nautilus bracelet with double deployant clasp • case, dial, movement and bracelet signed
Condition
The movement is running and the calendar correctors function properly, however it may require service soon. The dial is very clean and shows no visible imperfections. The case shows some light scuffs to the bezel and the bracelet shows scuffs from moderate wear. The inside of the last link of the bracelet is numbered A384BBC.
In 2006, the year this model was discontinued, the retail price was 22,800CHF.

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Certificate of Origin dated December 17th, 2005 and Patek Philippe booklets within a leather folder. Together with two spare links, setting pin, suede pouch, fitted leather presentation box and outer packaging.
According to our research, Ref. 3712/1A was made for approximately two years. Production ended in 2006, which marked the 30th Anniversary of the Nautilus design, and the series of re-interpretations of the classic design that followed. According to our research, approximately a dozen examples from this reference have re-appeared at auction.
