Catalogue Note

Omega launched this model, Ref. ST105.005, in 1962 and discontinued it after only four years in 1966. It is interesting to note that the original Geneva retail price for an example in 18k gold was twice the price for an example in stainless steel.

The short production run for the model, on top of the fact that most examples were produced in stainless steel, makes the present example unusual and collectible in the market today.
