• manual winding finely engraved nickel lever movement engraved Brevet du 7 Messidor An 9, 21 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance rotating within a one-minute tourbillon carriage, adjusted to six positions • silvered dial, Roman numerals and blued steel Breguet hands to the eccentric guilloché central dial and cotes de Génève detail to the surround, further engraved 1801 and 2001, aperture to reveal the three-arm tourbillon carriage with constant seconds mounted atop • large 18k pink gold circular case, guilloché hinged cover with aperture to reveal dial, cover further engraved 'Tourbillon' on a matte cartouche, coin-edge band, screw-set lugs, button in crown releasing hinged cover, sapphire crystal display back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k pink gold Breguet deployant buckle  

Condition

In virtually unworn condition. The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial shows no visible imperfections. The case shows only light shop wear. The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

Launched as a special edition in 2001, Reference 1801 commemorates the 200th anniversary of Abraham-Louis Breguet's patenting of his tourbillon invention on June 26th, 1801.
