Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity card, instruction booklet, wooden presentation case and card outer box and an F.P.Journe illustrated catalogue personally signed by Francois-Paul Journe.
The prototype of the Resonance System Chronometer, introduced by Francois-Paul Journe at the 1999 Basel Watch Show, represented a world first. Working in conjunction with one another, the watch possesses two entirely independent movements designed to produce a high degree of precision by compensating for each others minor errors.
This watch also represents the only precision chronometer immune to the effects of being worn. Oscillating in natural opposition, the two balances absorb shocks associated with normal wear.
