Condition

Very good overall condition. The shade with approximately 20-22 cracks to the glass scattered throughout. The leading is finely executed, and displays a particularly rich brown-green patina. There are some scattered small areas to the shade leading where the patina has been retouched. There are two small glass tiles (located at the centers of two flowers) which may possibly be replaced. (If replaced, this appears to have been done a long time ago, and most likely with period glass that is very consistent with the color scheme of the rest of the shade.) The beaded edge along the bottom border of the shade has been stabilized in one area. With period sockets and switches, and replaced hardware. A striking example of this peony pattern, displaying a strong selection of glass with deeply saturated colors.
