Issued in 1991, this serigraph numbered 265 of 270 is flawlessly signed and inscribed "Ted Williams, Splendid Splinter, 1941 - .406" (special limited signing of only ten in this style, numbered 9 of 10) in the lower margin by Ted Williams and artist LeRoy Neiman (both 10/10). This is the premier art print of Ted Williams, and one of the most popular of all signed limited edition Neiman serigraphs. Given the fact that this example is part of the ultra limited sub-edition of 10 and numbered "9" from that series, matching Williams famous jersey number, it is arguable that this is the most desirable of all modern era Ted Williams display pieces.
