Description

The self proclaimed "straw that stirred the drink" Reggie Jackson was a winner wherever he played. The outspoken, flamboyant, muscular outfielder played in 17 post-season series, earning five World Series rings over a 16 year stretch. He won the home run title playing for three different teams and provided some of the most dramatic home runs in history. This jersey was donned by Reggie in his fourth full season in the bigs after emerging from Arizona State as a multi-sport star. His 1971 Oakland Athletics sleeveless flannel home jersey features the teams "A's" logo on front and the number 9 on both front and back. Original tagging includes a McAuliffe label on the tail with adjacent year "71" and size "44" tags. Excellent game use is apparent and the jersey appears to be completely original and unaltered. LOA from Grey Flannel.
