Condition
Ivory ground.
Overall the work is in good condition. Along the margin on the left hand side, and mainly below the frame, there are small areas of scuffing, which has resulted in minor paint loss. There are one or two dark flecks near the margin at centre right. Slightly to the left of the sitters curling hair there is a small (5mm line), this is possibly a pencil mark.
