Catalogue Note
The company of Jan Pogorzelski was active in Warsaw from before 1851 to around 1910. A menorah-form lamp by Pogorzelski is in the Jewish Museum, New York (Susan L. Braunstien, Five Centuries of Hanukkah Lamps from the Jewish Musuem, no. 64, pp. 142-43) and others are in the Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie.
