the arched backplate applied with palm trees backed by lions and topped by sprays of leaves and fruit, centered by an openwork crown with lion supporters, the center applied with an openwork motif of multiple birds fronted by a vase of flowers, also applied with a bird on a swinging perch, with eight partly-faceted fonts and with matching detachable sconce and ewer-form shamas probably associated, marked twice on base panel behind fonts, one mark unclear
