Description
Comprising a seahorse of carved rock crystal, decorated with textured gold seaweed and shells studded with cultured pearls, the head and fin of matte gold, signed Seaman Schepps, and a carved opal parrot perched on a branch of pavé-set diamonds weighing approximately 4.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
SEAHORSE: Excellent condition. The round white pearls bear pink overtones, very good luster and minute blemishing. PARROT: Very good condition. The carved translucent white opal presents subtle play-of-color with shades of green and red predominating. The medium-light green emerald eyes are typically included; the eye on the front is ringed with colorless epoxy. The diamonds are approximately I-J-K color, VS-SI clarity.
