Description
The hinged bangle set to the front with a series of flower head motifs centring on variously shaped sapphires accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 180mm, together with a pair of earrings of similar design, post and butterfly fittings, part illustrated.
Condition
Bangle: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Principal sapphire measuring approximately 13.8 x 11.15 x 8.00mm, calculated to weigh approximately 11.57 carats, a light slightly violetish blue, typical inclusions visible with magnification, colour zoning, side stones a little stronger saturation of colour. Diamonds bright and lively. Hinge a little loose. Secure clasp. Safety catch to either side. In very good condition.
Earrings: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires measuring approximately 10.5 x 7.9 x 3.6mm, 10.9 x 7.55 x 3.9, estimated to weigh 2.51 and 2.70 carats respectively. Sapphires a medium violetish blue tone with typical inclusions visible with magnification. (These stones are similar to the side stones on the bangle.) Diamonds bright and lively. In good condition.
