MICROMOSAIC DEMI PARURE, CIRCA 1800

Designed as a series of oval micromosaic plaques depicting various vignettes of rural pursuit to triple chain link connecting swags, together with a pair of ear pendants en suite, length approximately 380mm, ear pendants with later screw fittings.

Necklace: Very smooth tesserae, no losses, light scratches consistent with age and wear to the mount, clasp relatively secure but could benefit from attention. In excellent condition. Earrings: Smooth tesserae, significant loss to one earring drop, with repair. In overall good condition. Chain-linking and earring screw back fittings later, stamped 9ct.
