The oval miniature depicting an interior scene of a child with two winged cherubs painted on ivory, within a frame set with old mine diamonds, the reverse inscribed, 'Come let us tread the Flow'ry Paths of Peace, since Fate hath Seal'd  th' irrevocable doom, Let's Soar together to you Realms of Bliss, and think we're happy being call'd so soon.' , several stones deficient.

Condition

Mounted in silver and gold, miniature slightly dislodged within frame, glass with some fine scratches, four diamonds deficient, remaining stones bright and lively, discolouration to silver frame and traces of dirt around some diamonds, later hinged suspension loop to reverse and C catch for brooch pin, parts of each tongue clasp for attachment to necklace or bracelet deficient.
