Description

The memorial brooch centring on a plaque decorated with white and black enamel depicting a weeping willow and an urn above a glazed compartment containing braided hair, within a border of circular-cut citrines, the reverse with a portrait miniature of a gentleman's right eye, blue iris painted on ivory, later eye miniature.

Condition

Eye in good condition, scratch to underside of glass, frame in good condition, with some slight discolouration to foil of citrines light to medium yellow, and some wear to reverse of citrine frame.
