Description
Comprising: a rectangular brooch centring on a glazed compartment containing a miniature depicting the left eye of a gentleman, with green iris and powdered wig painted on ivory, within a border of half seed pearls, the reverse a rectangular glazed compartment; together with a brooch centring on a rectangular glazed compartment containing a miniature depicting a left eye, with hazel iris painted on ivory, within a concentric border of half seed pearls, the reverse with a small rectangular glazed compartment.
Condition
Large eye : eye slightly faded with some dust beneath glass, glazed locket to reverse containing brown hair, small eye : eye slightly faded, some dust beneath glass, two small pearls missing from frame, hinged locket reverse containing pink fabric, metal pin, small mark to reverse possibly where safety chain had been attached.
