Description

Comprising: an annular scalloped brooch depicting a sunset in plique-à-jour enamel, the red sun in guilloché enamel and an iris in polychrome enamel, highlighted with a circular- and a rose-cut diamond; together with a chased gold brooch depicting an iris decorated with white and green enamel to a plique-à-jour enamel background, accented with a cascade of rose-cut diamonds, later brooch fitting, accompanied by two glazed display cases.

Condition

Circular brooch: stamped 18 for 18ct gold to reverse, one enamel leaf with old repair to enamel, two other leaves with some fine hairline cracks to enamel. Oval brooch: some fine hairline cracks to plique-a-jour enamel cells, later safety catch, both pin and safety catch detachable.
