Description

  • diameter of fourth plate 10 in.
  • 25.4 cm
the first painted with a couple in a garden within a shaped rim molded with seeded panels and painted floral sprays, the second painted with a young man and woman reclining on a riverbank within a basketweave and scroll molded border, the third painted with a musician and companion within a similar border and the fourth molded within an open latticework rim. Some minor chips and haircracks.

Condition

The first plate: In generally good condition. The second plate: A minor, old, 1/4 inch bruise crack to the rim, and a 1 inch shallow chip to the molded edge. The third plate: A poorly restored crack running into the center between 11 and 12 o'clock, with seven further sealed cracks from the rim between 1/2 inch and 2 inches long. The fourth plate: Very minor wear and small chips to the edge of the rim.
