Description

  • each approximately: 250cm. high, 38cm. wide; 8ft.2in., 1ft2 ½in.
each with an associated Corinthian capital, above a band of vine leaves and grapes, on a later circular and plinth base; decoration partially refreshed

Condition

Colour of blue painting slighter darker and gilding more golden and attractive than in the catalogue illustration. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active. Vertical hairline cracks and cracks generally commensurate with age. The gilding is worn in places, as visible from photograph. Some old very minor restorations to carved sections and some minor losses. An attractive lot in overall good restored condition.
