Description
- each: 95cm. high, 48cm. wide; 3ft.1¼in., 1ft.7¾in.
each with an arched cresting centred by a neo-classical urn above a rectangular plate, the frame carved with ribbon-twist border and roundels flanked by laurel leaves, with an acanthus carved apron, with a detachable candelbranch with three candlearms cast with leaves and flowers painted pink and green; formerly fitted for electricity; regilt
Condition
Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age. Hairline construction cracks as visible from photograph, some of which can easily be filled or left. On one, a construction crack has been filled. Old restoration across the top of the cresting and apron of one on the right, as visible from photograph, which has been well executed. Some wear to painted tôle, as visible from photograph. One floral branch of one candlearm is off but can easily be restored. An attractive lot in overall good condition.
