Description

  • 142cm. high, 144cm. wide, 48cm. deep; 4ft. 7½in., 4ft.8¼in., 1ft.6½in.
with a rectangular top above a pair of doors decorated with floral swags within scrolled cartouches enclosing two shelves, each stile surmounted by a flowerhead on bracket feet

Condition

Colour less green overall with more contrast and much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Old minor marks, chips, scratches and some minor losses to painted decoration commensurate with age as visible from photograph. Vertical construction crack down each door as visible from photograph, which can be left or filled. Charming detail to painting. Small gouge to left side. Hairline crack in right side and in the top and minor shrinkage of panel on left side where it joins the front panel - not too noticeable and can be left. Water staining on left and right sides and losses where insect damage, with a gouge on right side. In overall good condition.
