Description

  • 53cm. high, 39cm. wide, 25cm. deep; 1ft.8½in, 1ft.3in., 9¾in.
with twelve short drawers applied with pietre dure flowers and leaves, the bottom central drawer centred by a flower-filled tazza, the gilt-bronze handles cast with female busts on flattened bun feet

Condition

Old minor marks, chips and scratches. The carcass appears to be seventeenth century, but the pietre dure is later and is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean. The pewter banding is partly missing from top and sides. The feet are later. A decorative piece in need of some very minor restoration.
