Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been lined. PAINT SURFACE The painting appears to be in good condition and has been cleaned. ULTRAVIOLET Examination under ultraviolet light reveals minor retouching and strengthening to the paint surface in the sky to the top of the canvas, especially along the lower edge of the top stretcher bar. FRAME Held in a carved and gilded wooden frame.
