  • overall height 88 in. (223.52 cm)
the full bodied, powerfully carved figure of an Indian chief wearing a feathered headress, a feather trimmed costume with leggings, painted green, red and yellow, necklace and beads with an animal-paw cloak around his shoulders, with arm raised, shielding his eyes, the other with a bunch of cigars and blocks or tobacco, one foot resting on a rock, mounted in the original base inscribed Ed. A. Feltman, Cigars and Tobacco, with the original bars; found in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Condition

vertical split, as in photo, to back; minor chips and scrapes; small gouge in left elbow; cracks in composition -- all consistent with age and use, overall excellent condition.
