of inverted pear form, applied with band of spiny shells at neck, the shoulders chased and applied with band of pincones and pine branches with long-haired female heads in high relief at intervals, the lower body with conforming shells, supported on fluted circular base raised on four shell bracket feet, marked on base

?patch, may have been attached to a base or possibly later drilled for a lamp, Whiting signature not effected, good condition, nice weight
