Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The color of the sheep's coat is accurate in the catalogue illustration and has yellowed with age. The color is consistent throughout the body. The wool itself is in very good condition, with only a few minor areas of soiling. The front portion of the wool to the proper left top of the sheep's head has come unglued and lifts away from the metal body. The wool is intact, although a small portion is no longer glued in place and would benefit from restoration. There are small elements of the original glue are affixed to the wool. Currently the loose wool elements have been tucked under. The head of the sheep is slightly loose and currently can be turned slightly. This is not unstable but the movement is not part of the intent, and one may choose to restore this element as well. The metal elements with minor rubbing. All castors move will ease.
