Condition
Overall excellent condition. This pieces has three different subtle colors to the mahogany staining, which is visible in the catalogue adjacent to the introduction to this collection. This adds a beautiful subtle detail throughout the top of the case and adjacent to the drawers. With some minor surface scratches, scuffs and nicks, consistent with age and use. One chip and minor finish loss to the face of the bottom drawer on the proper left side of the case.

Catalogue Note
This sculptural chest of drawers was a standard model designed by Kagan. The detailing of the rounded corners and three-colored treatment of the rich mahogany were details added by Medina. This chest of drawers and the mirror in the following lot were made on the occasion of his marriage for use in their first home.
